John Nielsen:

John picked up his daughter’s guitar and taught himself to play.  A few years later, he had put together a playlist of over 150 songs and began performing solo gigs at area clubs.  His strength is his tight vocals and a fun-loving attitude that always gets the audience involved!  The playlist includes selections from Marshall Tucker, Springsteen, Buffett, Daimond, Cash, Jennings & Nelson.

 Frank Aragona:

A self-taught guitarist/vocalist from the age of 19, Frank grew up in the music-rich areas of Chicago.  He began playing professionally in 1987 and was classically schooled in music composition.  Artists that influence his style include: Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Jimmy Page, & Eddie VanHalen.    Playlists include songs from U2, Journey, Police, Bad Company, a large repertoire of soulful blues and many more…

Caleb Horne

Caleb is a wonderfully talented multi-instrumentalist with amazing vocals too.  He provides Bass, Mandolin or Guitar as the song desires.

Interactive Music Everyone Can Be A Part Of...

You can join in the fun at area clubs.
Song lists are passed around so you can select the music you want us to play.   A spare 'guest mic'  is ready for guest musicians who often stop by and join us or take the stage.   My goal is have our guests say something like "that was really a lot of fun" and bring their friends for future shows.

Performing as a solo
under the name  'John Nielsen & Friends' or as a duo as The John Nielsen Fun Music Show! , we fit into many smaller venues that would not otherwise be able to have live music.   For some larger venues a Trio group is booked adding a Bassest/Vocalist to the mix.  For Festivals, Fairs receptions and large venues, a full band configuration is used:  see  www.JFTPartyBand.com

Our PA is compact and provides a full punch without needing to be overpowering loud...something rarely seen in smaller venues with live music.
